These classes are approached with equal parts of heart and hand, seriousness and silliness.
I like to bring the fun to drawing and painting & to make it a pleasurable activity rather than an opportunity to beat ourselves up! It really is not so different to the mark making activities we set out to do as children.
In fact, I often hear this being reflected on in my classes: “it’s like being a child again, but we get to do it as an adult…”
It really is all about finding and losing yourself at the same time, and enjoying the release it provides.
